Located at Av. de la Buhaira nº17, Lateral opens the doors of its new restaurant in one of the most popular areas of Seville to expand the city’s range of leisure and gastronomy. This area, which belongs to the Nervión District, delimited by the old town, San Bernardo and La Huerta del Pilar, also has a historical tradition. Nowadays, the area emerges with different gastronomic and leisure proposals.
The decoration project, carried out by Alejandra Pombo’s studio, maintains the essence of the city’s tapas. Displayed in a bright and wide main floor and two terraces at street level, its large windows allow the Lateral Experience to be observed from the outside, inviting a wide range of public to enter and enjoy it. Inside, numerous high tables are distributed in the center of the premises, inspired by an Andalusian courtyard, together with two other low table areas that represent traditional Sevillian halls, thus differentiating atmospheres and spaces. Its glazed flowerpots and lamps of great proportion designed in the Sevillian lanterns, are two of the most representative elements of the design of the premises, incorporating, together with other materials used, broad features of the Andalusian style.
